Melton is one of the most important pluralist adult Jewish offerings in the world and we are delighted that we will be offering it to students in the heart of London. The Core Melton course in the first year includes: Rhythms and Purposes of Jewish Living. The second year includes: ‘Ethics’ and ‘Crossroads’ (History).

The course will, we hope, be running in two venues. It is possible to choose a preferred night and venue and know that if, for any reason, you are unable to attend you have the flexibility of catching up on the other night. However, we are looking for a regular commitment to one night, in general.
The Course will run from 7pm until 9:30pm (with a break between 8 and 8:30pm)
Exact dates visible on our calendar: 6.9.17 – 11.12.17 (Sukkot term – no class during festivals) ; 3.1.18 – 19.3.18 (Pesach term); 9.4.18 – 13.6.18 (Shavuot term)
It runs for 25 sessions through the year and explores all aspects of Jewish living. We are delighted to be able to offer it in partnership with Liberal Judaism, the Movement for Reform Judaism, Westminster Synagogue and the West London Synagogue.
You will be able to choose the most convenient evening. The course is open to anyone and more enriching with the presence of diverse Jewish voices – all you need is an eagerness to learn.
For this year, we are able to offer the course for £350 for members of progressive synagogues and £400 to others. There will be bursaries available, no-one should be prevented from learning about their heritage. We are also keen to invite participation from professionals working in Jewish educational frameworks as part of Continuing Professional Development. Please complete the form if you would like to join the learning.
