A Beginner’s Guide

Join experienced and passionate volunteer teacher David Strang to unlock the secrets of the siddur. A chance to discover some of the grammar, syntax and vocabulary of the siddur and deepen your encounter with the liturgy. This course which will run all year and is ideal for those of us who have learnt our letters but have no idea what it is we’re saying when we pray in Hebrew! Deepen your love for the ancient words of our prayers.

(A prerequisite is knowing your Aleph-Bet. You will need to purchase a recommended text book. The course will consist of learning how the siddur Hebrew works but to practise reading, join us in services!).
